Legal Intern PLT

Key Responsibilities Assist in the collection, review, and organisation of case-related documents and correspondence Draft, edit, and proofread routine legal documents and client communications Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, both physical and digital Coordinate communication between lawyers, clients, courts, and third parties Track and manage court dates, filing deadlines, and appointments, providing timely reminders to ensure compliance Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for solicitor review Prepare briefs, court bundles, and other litigation support documents as required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Legal Secretary (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software (e.g., LEAP, Affinity, or similar) The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.
