Paralegal P/T

Astor Legal is a rapidly growing Criminal Law firm with offices throughout Australia. We are seeking a volunteer paralegal/PLT student to join our team. This is currently an unpaid position but may become paid in the future. We are looking for 2 paralegals who are available to work two to three days a week. We are looking to hire as soon as possible. In this role, you will work directly with the Principal and solicitors. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from an accredited specialist in Criminal Law. You will be exposed to both summary and indictable matters. Duties and Responsibilities Liaising directly with solicitors Undertaking legal research Acting on instructions from solicitors Drafting documents and articles Use of practice management and other software & applications General office duties Personal Attributes Reliable and responsible Self-motivated and result driven individual Good time management skills Excellent communication skills Ability prioritise and meet deadlines Excellent research skills Experience is not required, but preferred.
