Job Summary: Under our Intern programme you will be given an overview and training in various Construction functions/verticals, The primary coverage will be on the processes based on a two-month program. Major Responsibilities: You will work under the supervision and guidance of respective vertical leaders and will work closely with team leads and supervisors for day-to-day activities as follows: Students will be learning various systems and procedures which are used by these verticals. Collaborative Trainees would be provided training and expected to assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports/activities including developing and utilizing databases, and various other reports. Shadowing and learning from experienced professionals in the field. Assisting with day-to-day tasks and projects. Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills. Conducting research and analysis as required. Contributing innovative ideas and solutions to ongoing projects. Education and Experience Requirements: Currently undertaking Bachelor of Science degree program in Civil Engineering at an accredited college or university Students should qualify to undergo the training as part of the university curriculum Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of (2.5 out of 4) or (4 out of 5) Excellent skills in oral and written communication Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance. Required Knowledge and Skills: Good Communication Skills. Ability to work well in a team Time management and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Attention to detail and accuracy Adaptability and flexibility Students should be from the core civil engineering field. Good Academic background. Students must know the basic principles and practices Problem-solving, entering and verifying data, working knowledge of computers, various software applications, and standard office equipment.
