HR Coordinator
D4C
About the Role
Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We are helping our client, Sydney Water, to deliver a $34 billion dollar program over a 10-year contract, providing design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to the Georges River National Park
When you join D4C, you'll be joining a team of 700+ employees, all helping to provide services that are vital to Sydney Water's customers' quality of life, and to safeguard Sydney's future by maintaining a sustainable water supply and protecting our iconic waterways.
About the opportunity
We're looking for a HR Coordinator or HR Graduate who is curious, organised and genuinely hungry to learn.
This isn't a role where you'll be left on your own to figure things out. You'll be surrounded by experienced HR professionals who are generous with their knowledge, happy to answer your questions and invest in helping you build your career.
You'll get exposure across HR generalist activities and Learning & Development, giving you a great foundation to discover where your HR career could take you.
What you'll do
There is a fair amount of administration in this role. You'll spend time managing employee data, updating systems, preparing reports, coordinating training, processing documentation and completing repetitive tasks where accuracy really matters.
But the role is much more than admin.
You'll also have the opportunity to:
Support the HR team across a broad range of generalist HR activities
Coordinate learning and development programs, training and employee development initiatives
Work closely with HR Business Partners and learn how they support leaders and their teams
Help maintain HR systems, records and reporting
Support employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through to offboarding
Contribute to HR projects and process improvements
Get involved in initiatives that improve the employee experience
Ask questions, build your HR knowledge and gradually take on more responsibility
About you
You don't need years of experience. We're more interested in your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
You might be a recent HR graduate looking for your first opportunity, or you may already have some HR administration experience and ready to take the next step.
This role will suit you if you have:
A genuine interest in building a career in HR
A thirst for learning and the confidence to ask questions
Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with data and employee information
Good organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the administrative work
A positive, team-focused attitude
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
A degree or qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline is desirable, but we're open to the right person
The benefits of working with D4C
At D4C you'll enjoy a secure, long-term pipeline of interesting and challenging projects, where safety, innovation and collaboration are encouraged, recognised and rewarded.
Permanent employment in one of our parent companies, with the potential for future work after the Sydney Water contract
Personal and professional development training
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
